We are delighted to launch the Jane Metson Foundation on the very day that she would have turned 60. Sadly, Jane did not live to celebrate this milestone but her many friends and family will take comfort that she was such an inspirational and loving person who always put others ahead of herself. The Foundation is both a tribute to her and a way of continuing to help a variety of worthwhile causes that she so actively supported.
We are hugely grateful for the interest you have expressed by visiting this site and encourage you to give as much as you feel able to as well as spreading the word about the foundation

Over the next few months, the trustees will have a clear idea of progress on the fund-raising and will keep you updated.
Why give to the foundation rather than charities individually?
The charities that the foundation supports are small operations which do amazing work but don’t always get the exposure or large scale backing that other larger charities can. By supporting the Jane Metson Foundation you know you are supporting a variety of non-government organisations which make a real difference with targeted action to specific problems in the UK and abroad.

Watch this space for future events. We are currently planning a fundraising quiz night in the spring and in the summer of 2015: a Family Fun day including a cricket match between the Blues cricket Club and a ‘World XI’!
